After Being Shot In The Head, Woman Drives 7 Km To Police Station
Home > News Shots > India newsIn a sad and shocking case, a 42-year-old woman with three gunshot wounds to the head and one on her face drove seven kilometres to a police station. She drove to register a complaint against her brother and minor nephew in a land grab case.
This incident took place in a village in Punjab's Muktsar district. The minor is a Class 10 student, who shot at his aunt Sumeet Kaur and her mother Sukhbinder Kaur at their residence.
As per NDTV reports, Sumeet Kaur said her teenaged nephew shot at her and her mother Sukhbinder Kaur over land dispute. Luckily, both the woman survived the bullets with injuries. After reaching the police station, both the woman were rushed to a hospital where the doctors managed to remove the bullets and save them.
During investigation, Sumeet Kaur told police that her brother Harinder Singh has been trying to grab the land that belongs to her and her mother. Her brother and his son had earlier allegedly tried to kill them.
"After the death of my father, my mother and I got 16 acres. My brother wants to grab the entire land," She told police. Currently, police are investigating the matter and a case has been registered against the man and his minor son.
