Video: Senior Citizen Scolds Bikers For Riding on Footpath; Twitter Calls Her 'Hero'

A video of Gokhale scolding bikers riding on the pavement in Pune has been going viral. The video has been shared by Roads of Mumbai on their social media handle. They captioned the video saying, "This aunty from Pune is an inspiration to many. Well done Ma'am. Shame on Bikers who ride on footpaths. It's sad to see senior citizens have to do the job what traffic police is supposed to do in our country."
In the video, Gokhale can be seen standing with hands on her hip on the sidewalk of an extremely busy Canal road near SNDT college. The moment she sees bikers coming towards her on the pavement. She starts scolding and asks them to get down on the road.
This video is currently going viral and has garnered over 242 k views; many have hailed her courage and other asked her to join the traffic police.
