'Sabarimala fame' Activist Rehana Fathima denied Anticipatory Bail by Court; May get Arrested in 'Nude Painting Case'!

The Kerala High court on Friday objected an anticipatory bail plea that was submitted by Rehana Fathima. She was recently booked for circulating a video of her children painting on her semi-nude body,
Activist Rehana Fathima is known to have fought for the rights of women between the age group of 10 to 50 to enter the Sabarimala temple. She has posted a video on Facebook as well, where she was wearing the attire of an Ayappa devotee which was offending several Hindus. Further, she had also attempted to enter the temple.
However, recently she was booked under Section 67 of IT Act, which is for electronically transmitting sexually explicit content, and Section 75 of Juvenile Justice Act which is for punishment for cruelty to child.
In the video that the activist had circulated, she was seen semi-nude reclining on a bed, while her body was being used as the canvas for her children to rein in their imagination. “When mother is taking rest due to some eye problem, her kids are painting the picture of Phoenix bird in order to make her cool,” the video’s description read.
The activist has called it as “conceptual art” and was trying to seek bail.
