Video: Rhea Chakraborty First Appearance Since Sushant’s Death; Will She be Arrested?

Actor Rhea Chakraborty who was late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend, made a first public appearance on Friday at Mumbai’s ED office.

“The ED is investigating the financial angle in Sushant's death case and has named Rhea under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The ED had asked the actor to appear before the agency at its Mumbai office on August 7,” stated reports.

Earlier the CBI rejected Rhea’s plea to be exempted from being interrogated until the Supreme Court hears her petition. Further, it was revealed earlier this week that Rhea and her family had absconded their Mumbai apartment soon after Sushant’s father filed a case against her.

The Supreme Court on August 5 denied protection to Rhea and also provided 3 days’ time to the Maharashtra police to put together all details regarding the case. Earlier today, the IPS officer from Bihar who was sent to investigate the same case was permitted to be released from his quarantine after the apex court pulled up the officials who forced the same.
