Who is Rambhakt Gopal Sharma? - Details of Arrested Gunman in CAA Protest Revealed

Amidst the continuing Anti-CAA rally in parts of India, one unidentified man in Delhi had allegedly opened fire in Delhi at Jamia area.

The man was arrested by the delhi police and has been identified as Gopal.  He was found in the place where the Anti-CAA protestors including students of Jamia Millia Islamia were marching towards Rajghat.

Gopal allegedly shouted 'Who wants freedom? I will give freedom' while opening fire at the protestors. Shadab Najar, a student of Jamia Millia's Mass Communication and Research Centre has been injured because of the fire. Reportedly he was taken to Holy Family Hospital in Jamia area.

Additional information about the accused was revealed by NDTV after sourcing from his Facebook page. According to the reports, the name of the accused is 'Rambhakt Gopal Sharma' aged 19. He is the resident of Jewar from Uttar Pradesh.

Reportedly his Facebook page contained messages like  "Shaheen Bagh, Game Over" and "I am the lone Hindu here" and  "On my last journey, drape me in saffron and shout slogans of Jai Shri Ram."

It is said that Rambhakt Gopal Sharma was standing along with the protestors with the gun hidden in his black jacket. In fact, he was even live streaming on Facebook and all of a sudden and started firing at the protestors.
