Watch Video: President, Nirmala Sitharaman Run To Help Policewoman During Event

At a recent event, where President Ram Nath Kovind, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Anurag Thakur, were present at the function a policewoman collapsed in Delhi. 

Within minutes, the woman was attended by none other than the higher dignitaries, who were attending the event. 

In a video that has gone viral, all were seen rushing to inquire about the woman. This incident took place at Vigyan Bhawan during the first National CSR Awards function.

According to news agency PTI, the policewoman was standing at the front of the stage when she twisted her ankle and slipped. This moment happened when the national anthem was being played. As soon as she fell, she sat on the carpet.

Once the national anthem was over, President Kovind, Ms Sitharaman and Anurag Thakur rushed from the stage, to the check up on the policewoman, PTI further reported.

President Kovind was also seen having a brief conversation with the policewoman while Mr Thakur offered her a bottle of water. Minutes later President Kovind left the venue leaving the audience applauding for them.
