In a shocking incident reported on an Air India flight, a passenger found a dead cockroach in the food served to him.

Rohit Raj Singh Chauhan was on his way from Bhopal to Mumbai on Saturday. He was served idly-vada-sambar during the travel. However, upon opening the packet, Rohit found a cockroach inside. The man immediately posted a picture of it on social media.

Now after two days, Air India has issued an apology. The airline tweeted, "We have taken serious note of the incident and immediately issued a strong notice to the caterer concerned. Air India has zero-tolerance policy in this respect and has initiated corrective action internally. Our senior officials are in touch with the aggrieved passenger."
