"Side effect of Bollywood": Pak takes jab at India after airstrike
Home > News Shots > India newsTwo weeks after 40 CRPF jawans' lives were lost in the deadly Pulwama Attack, India struck back in the early hours of Tuesday. India carried out a 'non-military, pre-emptive air strikes' and targeted the biggest camp of the Jaish-e-Mohammed at Balkot.
Responding to a media report of the event, Pakistani political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf took to Twitter and called it a 'side effect of Bollywood'. The party founded by Imran Khan wrote, "Side Effects of Bollywood Are Hazardous To Indian Media’s Mental Health. Might Induce Hallucinations and Delusions Of Grandeur.#Pakistan."
The Indian Air Force struck the largest camp of the Jaish-e-Mohammed at Balkot at around 3.30 am on Tuesday. Reportedly, 12 Mirage 2000 fighter jets dropped 1,000 kg bombs on the camp. Over 300 terrorists were killed in the strike.
Pakistan has maintained that there has been no damage due to the attack. In fact, the country has even denied that a bombing even took place.
