The Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development Satyapal Singh announced on Thursday that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and the Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main) is to be conducted twice each year.
Reportedly, NEET will be held in February and May and JEE will be held in January and April. It was also announced that NEET and JEE Main will henceforth be conducted by the National Testing Agency through computers.
Singh announced that schools and engineering colleges with the facilities of computer labs will be identified and used for conducting the exams.
