BIG News: Rhea's Brother Showik Chakraborty 'Arrested' in Sushant Singh Case - Report

In a huge development, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) which is probing Sushant Singh Rajput’s case from the drug angle, arrested Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda. The development reportedly happened minutes after actor Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Shwoik allegedly confessed about possessing drugs upon e Rhea’s instruction. However, Showik has also stated that Rhea had asked Sushant’s ex- manager Samuel Miranda to procure drugs as he was in contact with many drug peddlers. Earlier, Basit Parihar, Kaizan Ibraham and Zaid were arrested in association to the case. 

The NCB had raided Showik Charkaborty and Samuel Miranda’s residences earlier on Friday. They had also raided Rhea’s car, phone and searched Rhea’ s laptop in order to probe the drug angle further. 

"Moreover, sources at the NCB revealed that Showik allegedly met 'drug peddler' Basit Parihar at a football club in Bandra to gain access to drugs. Parihar was already in contact with another drug peddler named Sohail - who allegedly supplied Showik and Rhea, marijuana also known as 'buds'. Rhea has already been issued a notice in the NCB case and is likely to be summoned,” Republic Media Network reported. 

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly died by suicide at his Bandra residence on June 14.
