Internet is all love for Nagpur City Police over their recent tweet on Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) spotting Lander Vikram on the lunar surface.

“Dear Vikram, Please respond. We are not going to challan you for breaking signals! #VikramLanderFound #ISROSpotsVikram @isro #NagpurPolice,” the tweet read.

This comes a day after Chandrayaan 2’s lander Vikram lost its connection with the ground stations moments before its planned landing on the South Pole region of the Moon. ISRO Chief K Sivan later said that Vikram has been spotted through thermal images clicked by the Orbiter. However, the connection has not been established so far.

“It had a hard-landing very close to the planned (touch-down) site as per the images sent by the on-board camera of the Orbiter. The lander is there as a single piece, not broken into pieces. It’s in a tilted position,” an ISRO official associated with the mission was quoted as saying by India Today.

Being shared on 9th September, the tweet has since garnered 25,000 likes and 8,500 retweets. Some viewers compared the tweet with the amended Motor Vehicles Act and came up with hilarious comments.

“If Vikram will respond you can send me the Challan for Breaking Signals I will Pay on behalf of Vikram. Waiting to Hear from You #vikramlander Please Respond #ISROSpotsVikram [sic],” commented one Twitter user.

“Hahha….good one @NagpurPolice Hope atleast by seeing your message our #Vikram responds [sic],” wrote another.
