“My wife still searches for her baby in sleep”: Father of infant who was raped, murdered
Home > News Shots > India newsAccording to a report in Hindustan Times, the mother of a six-month-old infant, who was raped and murdered in Indore on April 21, still searches for her baby in her sleep and wakes up crying, said her husband on Saturday.
The accused, who allegedly had a quarrel with the victim’s family, wanted to take revenge and committed the crime. “My wife cried a lot the first few days but she is coming to terms with it slowly,” said the husband.
The accused has been awarded death sentence by a court in just 23 days after the crime. The incident came to light after the body of the baby was discovered by owners of shops in the building where the baby was murdered.
