AR Rahman Welcomes Donald Trump With 2019 Track; Tweets With Important Message!
Home > News Shots > India newsAs the first day of US President Donald Trump, who arrived in India on Monday morning comes to an end; Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman took to his social media handle and dedicated his 2019 track 'Ahimsa' to him.
Rahman posted the track as a welcome greeting to US President Donald Trump and family. Earlier in the day, the US President along with First Lady Melania Trump, attended the ''Namaste Trump'' event in Gujarat's Motera stadium.
Rahman tweeted about the track saying, "Here's a track from us to welcome President Donald Trump to the land of Gandhi." The lyrics of the song talks about love while promoting the act of 'ahimsa' which means non-violence.
According to NDTV reports, AR Rahman had joined U2 band members, who came together and collaborated on a multi-lingual song, which released in November 2019. Not forgetting, Rahman and his band even performed it on stage at U2's Mumbai concert in November, 2019.
