Breathtaking Video: Woman pulled out of flooded subway
Home > News Shots > India newsAs heavy rain hit Mumbai today, the city got flooded in just a few hours. Especially, the infamous Milan subway in Mumbai's Andheri suburb turned into a river, where a woman got stuck and had to be rescued by locals present in the area.
According to India Today reports, a video of the incident showed a man on a ledge near the subway's roof lying down and pulling the woman up. While, two other men are seen standing below helping the woman scamper up the sides of the subway to reach a safe, dry spot.
The woman, who is from Malaysia and was in Mumbai for the first time, was seen almost in tears, India Today further reported.
Media reports say that, Mumbai witnessed the season's first bout of heavy rain on Friday morning. The rainfall led to water logging in several locations and brought traffic to a halt.
