If there is one story that gets scarier and scarier, it should be of the petrol and diesel prices in the country not going down. On Monday, petrol price touched Rs 90.08 per litre in Mumbai, while diesel is being sold at Rs 78.58 per litre — up from Rs 89.97 and Rs 78.53 respectively, data on the Indian Oil Corp’s website showed.
Prices of Petrol and Diesel in Delhi are Rs 82.72, an increase of 11 paise per litre and Rs 74.02 per litre, an increase of 5 paise, respectively.
Even though fuel prices have been seeing an upward swing, several state governments have come forward to reduce the same.
