Home > News Shots > India newsUS President Donald Trump and the First Lady Melania Trump will be in India on February 24 and February 25. Along with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Trump will be inaugurating the Motera Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad.
"I happen to like Prime Minister Modi a lot and he told me we will have 7 million people between the airport and the event and the stadium under construction and it's going to be the largest stadium in the world. So it's going to be very exciting. But he says between the stadium and the airport, we'll have about 7 million people. So it's going very exciting. I hope you all enjoy," said Trump a few days ago.
Meanwhile, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has released a video in which we could see the people of Gujarat welcoming Donald Trump and the First Lady Melania Trump. The video was shared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the caption "India looks forward to welcoming @POTUS @realDonaldTrump. It is an honour that he will be with us tomorrow, starting with the historic programme in Ahmedabad!," (sic).
