Massive Fire breaks out at Oil factory in Maharashtra! Report
Home > News Shots > India newsA fire broke out in Maharashtra’s Akola district on Tuesday Night. The fire erupted in an oil factory unit in the area. Officials told the media on Wednesday that the fire broke out and spread across the premises of the factory.
As per media reports and official statements, no casualty was reported.
Reportedly, the fire erupted in the private unit which is located in the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) area at around 8 pm on Tuesday. The primary focus of the unit is to manufacture oil used in inverters and automobiles.
Firefighters rushed to the unit and managed to contain the spread of the fire and douse the flames. They managed to do so within an hour.
The oil and other that were stocked up for manufacturing, was completely destroyed due to the fire.
An official at MIDC Police station told the The New Indian Express that a probe is underway to ascertain the cause of the fire.
