Manmohan Singh, Ghulam Nabi Azad to Skip Dinner Banquet Arranged for Trump!
Home > News Shots > India newsAs US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump landed in Delhi after an hour stopover at Taj Mahal, reports have surfaced that Former Prime Minsiter Manmohan Singh and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad will not attend the dinner banquet arranged for the US President at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday.
PTI reported that Singh had earlier accepted the invite but expressed his inability to attend on Monday. He also conveyed his regret to the President's office on the same.
Congress leader in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary will also skip the dinner in protest against the top leaders of the party not being extended an invitation.
