Home > News Shots > India newsPeople who own their own vehicle sometimes use press, judge and Army stickers so that they don't have to pay traffic tickets or parking charges. But this man had a bizarre idea of carrying the name of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy on the number plates.
This incident came to light after, a resident of Hyderabad made use of this idea in order to evade toll taxes and checking.
According to News18 report, when traffic police were on a routine check of vehicles on October 19, they were surprised to see a man displaying the CM's name on his car number plates instead of the car's registration number.
The man has been identified as M Hari Rakesh of East Godavari district, who's number plate read as 'AP CM Jagan'.
When he was interrogated as to why he was using CM's name on his number plates, the man asserted that he came up with the idea to get exemption from paying toll tax and also avoid being checked by the traffic police.
As soon as the police got to know the man's reason, they seized his car and registered a case against him.
