Man sets motorcycle on fire after traffic police issued challan
Home > News Shots > India newsIn a shocking case, a man set fire to his motorcycle after he was caught by traffic police for driving in an inebriated state.
The man has been identified as Rakesh, resident of Sarvodaya Enclave.
After getting caught, the man had been issued a challan for drunk driving at Triveni complex in Chirag Delhi.
As per India Today reports, Malviya Nagar Police Station received an emergency call regarding the incident. When the local police team reached the spot, they found that the traffic staff had stopped a motorcycle rider.
On being checked, they found him to be under the influence of alcohol. As soon as Rakesh got to know that, his motorcycle was being impounded as per law, he set fire to it, India Today further reported.
A case has been registered under the IPC in this regard.
