To Stop Wife From Leaving India, Man Call Airport Staff With 'This Shocking News'

In a shocking and bizarre case, a man gets arrested after making a hoax call on August 8 saying that his wife was on her way to set off a bomb at the Delhi airport.

The accused, identified as Nasiruddin (29), was arrested from Bawana area in New Delhi.

As per India Today reports, on an immediate call, the Special cell of the Delhi Police arrested the man who made a hoax call. The police further claimed that, the man said his wife is a "fidayeen"  (Arab guerrillas operating especially against Israel) and is going to the airport to trigger a bomb blast. The man did this to prevent his wife from leaving the country.

As soon as the call was received, airport authorities at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, had to temporarily suspend operations of international flights.

The man's wife, identified as Rafiya, was taking a flight to the Middle East and work there. So he was trying his bit to stop her. Currently, the police have registered a criminal case against Nasiruddin.

The man reportedly owns a bag manufacturing factory in Chennai. He had married Rafiya, who was now planning to leave India to work in the Gulf.
