Video : People Protest Outside Police Station Demanding Justice For Hyderabad Vet Doctor, Throw Slippers At Police

Ever since the gruesome gangrape and murder of a Hyderabad veterinarian doctor has taken place, the country is in shock. Earlier in the day, a large number of people staged a protest outside Hyderabad’s Shadnagar police station demanding justice for the woman. 

Since morning, locals were seen outside the police station as the accused in the rape and murder of the veterinary doctor were lodged there, before being shifted to Chanchalguda Central Jail.

According to Indian Express report, the four accused in the case have been sent in judicial remand for 14 days. The video of the angry crowd is currently going viral, where a huge crowd can be seen raising slogans against the accused.

Amid the protest, the locals also threw slippers at police. While speaking to media, a man at the protest said that “It is not enough if they are taken to court. They should be handed out the same treatment what they had done to the victim. If you cannot do it, hand them over to us." 

Police, who tried to calm the crowd, assured that they would ensure 100 percent conviction to the accused. They also requested the people to cooperate with them. When the protest when out of hand, the police had to resort to lathicharge and disperse them. 

The alert police cracked the case and arrested the accused by using CCTV footage and technical evidence. According to Indian Express report, the Cyberabad Police Friday arrested four accused in connection with this case.

They have been identified as Mohammed Areef (26), Jollu Shiva (20), Jollu Naveen (20) and Chintakunta Chennakeshavulu (20), all belonging to the Narayanpet district. 

The nation was shocked to see the news about a charred body of the 27-year-old veterinary doctor, who was gang-raped, murdered and burnt.
