Watch - Man puts elephant to sleep by singing lullaby

A video of a man singing a lullaby to an elephant went viral on social media. The video taken in Perumpullissery, Thrissur was made public by China Xinhua News on its official Twitter handle along with the caption, "Man sings elephant to sleep with lullaby in Kerala, India," a few days ago.

The video features part-time mahout KC Sreekumar singing to the 40-year-old elephant, Bastion Vinayasundar. Sitting on a bed of palm leaves, Sreekumar can be heard singing Alliyilam Poovo - a Malayalam song from the 1984 movie Mangalam Nerunnu while stroking the tusker's trunk.

The heartwarming video garnered over 120K views and is being shared across social media platforms.
