A heartwarming tale of kindness in Kerala during the time of floods has taken the entire state by surprise. Mohan, a journalist had promptly cancelled the engagement function of his daughter (in pic) scheduled for August 19 and has decided to donate the money that would have been spent for the same to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund.
The arrangement was done in tandem with the groom's family, who readily agreed for the noble act.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to arrive in Kochi soon to take an aerial survey of the state.
