Another Kerala family murder case: All members of family dead, caretaker gets 30 crore property
Home > News Shots > India newsThe Kerala police have started investigating into the deaths of seven members of the same family who died over a span of 20 years. Their property has been acquired by their caretaker and they are now under police lens for suspiction over having a hand in their death, reports TNM.
Seven members of the Koodathil family of Uma Mandiram House from Kulathara, Trivandrum, Koodam Gopinathan Nair, his wife Sumukhi Amma, daughter Jayasree, sons Balakrishnan and Jayaprakash, Gopinathan’s nephews Unnikrishnan Nair and Jayamadhavan Nair died over a span of 20 years. The last death was that of Jayamadhavan and it happened in 2017.
After that the caretaker family came in possession of the family wealth. Police are now investigating into the matter after they received complaint over suspicion in the deaths especially with that of Jayamadhavan and Jayaprakash.
Raveendran Nair, the family's caretaker, is alleged to have forged the last remaining heir's will. Though a complaint was filed in 2018, the investigation began only after Koodathayi serial murder shocked the state.
