The death of Actor Sushant Singh Rajput has left many in shock and grief. Actress Kangana Ranaut recently told in an interview with Pinkvilla that the actress wants to probe into the reasons that led Sushant to take his life. She questioned who played the catalyst in Sushant’s suicide.

"Were there people calling Sushant? Were there people putting such thoughts into his mind? I have no idea, but obviously, he was in a similar situation. In his interviews, he had said that nepotism cannot co-exist with talent because they don’t allow the right talent to come up. I can relate to it, and hence I am raising questions. I want to know who played the catalyst in this situation,” she told in the interview.

Today, the actress released a video from her official Instagram handle pointing out to certain articles published by various media houses as ‘blind items’ which directly or indirectly put Sushant Singh Rajput in a bad light.

She started by quoting what Sushant's father KK Singh had said about the actor's mental state, that he was disturbed by whatever was happening within the film industry. She further quoted Abhishek Kapoor, who had worked with Sushant in Kai Po Che and Kedarnath, who said that  "It was a systematic dismantling of a fragile mind."

She also quoted Ankita Lokhande,  who was reportedly Sushant's ex-girlfriend, who said that Sushant was unable to handle the disrespect and insults that came his way every day.

In a tragic and shocking incident, the actor was found hanging in his Bandra Residence on June 14. The Mumbai police is investigating the case. Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh told that the police will investigate all angles pertaining to Sushant's suicide, including financial, personal and that of a professional rivalry.

“While investigation is underway to understand the reason behind Sushant’s depression, close friend and actor Rhea Chakraborty on Thursday recorded her statement in connection with his suicide at the Bandra police station. Bollywood casting director Mukesh Chhabra had also recorded his statement on Wednesday, along with 10 others,” including Sushant’s family members, The New Indian Express reported.
