Journalist's mentally unstable son killed, eyes gouged out, 5 detained
Home > News Shots > India newsOn Sunday, the mentally unstable son of a Nalanda-based journalist was found dead in a village pond in Bihar's Harnaut village. The boy's eyes were gouged out.
A special investigation team has been formed to investigate the murder of the boy. Police has detained five local youths in connection with the murder, as reported by The Indian Express.
The reason for the murder is yet to be found. The victim went missing at 1 pm that day and was found dead later the same day. He lived with his grandmother. After he went missing, his grandmother informed his father. The villagers started searching for the boy and found him dead.
The SP said that the boy's father imformed that the boy would "behave abnormally at times". "Though we cannot say anything with conclusion as of now, we can only suspect that the boy could have done something and was attacked brutally. But it is all speculation," he said.
