Will Indian Women Employees Get Paid Equal to Men in 2020? - Major Survey Report
Home > News Shots > India newsAccording to the recent survey by market research firm Ipsos, 71% of Urban Indians are confident that women will get paid the same as men for the same work in 2020.
The survey has come in the time where the scale of women empowerment is taking a healthy leap. However, in regards to the global citizens, the survey results vary and end up with 44%.
"The survey provides a panoramic view of what is likely to dominate global events and it is a good opportunity for countries to be mindful of what the citizens are thinking, bang in the beginning of the year, and address their concerns and measure up to their expectations," Amit Adarkar, CEO India and APAC Operations Director, Ipsos was quoted as saying by TNM.
The other part of the survey concentrated on Global Economy says that 83% of Indians are confident that the performance of the global economy will reach high whereas only half of the global citizens agree to the same view.
