Indian Air Force Releases Promo Video of Balakot Air Strike!
Home > News Shots > India newsAhead of the Indian Air Force Day (October 8), the Indian Air Force (IAF) has released a promotional video of Balakot air strike that targetted a terror camp in Pakistan earlier this year. The video was released by Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria and it shows Indian fighter jets taking off, radars zooming in to targets and dropping missiles.
Bhaduria, however, clarified that the visuals in the video are not the actual ones from Febraury 28 meaning they are just respresentative.
The video comes along with a voiceover that tells how the Indian Air Force avenged the Pulwama terror attack by Jaish-e-Mohammad, a Pakistan based terrorist organisation, which left 40 Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans killed.
During the Balakot Air Strike, an Indian Wing Commander named Abhinandan Varthaman fell into Pakistan territory after the MiG-21 he was operating was shot down. He was then released two days later.
