India Records Highest Single-Day Rise In COVID-19 Cases; With Death Toll on Rise!
Home > News Shots > India newsAs fear is gripping the world with rise in coronavirus cases, India has recorded the highest single-day rise in fresh cases of novel coronavirus.
The country has currently crossed 1,300 while the death toll reached 38. The sudden rise in the death toll took place today after six people from Telangana who attended a religious meet in Delhi's Nizamuddin died due to the deadly coronavirus.
Highlighting about other states, Mumbai showed a massive jump in 59 new coronavirus cases today, taking the toll in Maharashtra to 72.
Looking at the issue globally, there are over 7.86 lakh confirmed cases of COVID-19 with at least 37,800 people, who have died. Ever since the outbreak, the United States, Italy and Spain have registered more cases than China.
