Hollywood star Brad Pitt asks NASA astronaut whether he saw Chandrayaan 2's Vikram Lander

Chandrayaan 2's Vikram lander has been making the headlines for quite a while and turns out the news has reached Hollywood star Brad Pitt.

As a part of Pitt's promotion for his movie Ad Astra, in which he plays the role of an astronaut, he called the International Space Station and spoke with American astronaut Nick Hague. The call was broadcasted on NASA TV.

During the conversation, Pitt asked Hague whether he watched the landing of India's Chandrayaan-2 Vikram lander. To which Hague replied, "No, unfortunately."

The lander which was all set to create world record by landing in the south pole of the moon for the first time lost communication minutes before the landing.
