CSK Star Cricketer's Comment on Chandrayaan-2 is Trending Now!
Home > News Shots > India newsIndian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully launched the most anticipated Chandrayaan-2 into space. The second lunar exploration was launched at 2:43 pm on July 22 (Monday) from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Andhra Pradesh’s Sriharikota. The historic achievement has been widely lauded by people around the nation.
Popular Cricketers including Sachin Tendulkar and Indian Skipper, Virat Kohli expressed their wishes on a congratulatory note for Indian scientists. Latest to be added in the list is India’s legendary spinner and CSK’s star cricketer, Harbhajan Singh. The Punjab half-spinner quoted a glimpse of statistics to hail ISRO’s achievement.
He tweeted “Some countries have moon on their flags” by including the flags of “Pakistan, Turkey, Tunisia, Libya, Azerbaijan, Algeria, Malaysia, Maldives and Mauritania”. Bhajji’s comparison got narrowed down in the second line with 4 countries, “US, Russia, India and China” which he has captioned, “ While some countries having their flags on moon” (sic)
The light wordplay with “Moon” and its relation to the respective countries that have made space exploration on the planet received mixed comments from the twitter audience. However, it looks like Harbhajan’s intent was clearly focused on appreciating ISRO’s achievement along with other countries on a positive note.
