#JusticeForMadhu! Half burnt body of a college girl found hanging on a tree. People demand justice
Home > News Shots > India newsIn a horrific incident, the half burnt body of a civil engineering student, identified as Madhu, has been found hanging on a tree in Karnataka’s Raichur.
According to Hans India, the girl was studying engineering in a private college and went missing on April 15. The parents started locating the girl due to her absence and three days later her body was found half burnt, hanging on a tree near the outskirts of the city.
Initially due to the suicide note, it was believed that she committed suicide. But her family and friends suspected foul play and they claimed that she was brutally murdered. People started protesting demanding justice for her. They took it to social media to demand justice by making a hashtag #JusticeForMadhu which even singer Chinmayi tweeted after receiving a lot of messages to highlight the matter.
According to Firstpost, police have registered a case and have arrested one person. More information is awaited.
