Beef takes over BJP website; hackers put on show as Modi 2.0 starts
Home > News Shots > India newsAs Modi 2.0 takes oath, hackers have hacked the website of Delhi wing of Bharataiya Janata Party. The hackers replaced several pages of the website with recipes of Beef dishes, reports India Today.
They have acknowledged the hacking and revealed their identity with the message: Hacked by "Shadow_V1P3R."
The reports further state that on the homepage, the navigation bar had been edited to replaced word BJP with the word BEEF. For example, About BJP had been edited to About BEEF, BJP History had been changed BEEF History. Rest of the contents of the homepage remained untouched.
However it has been resolved now as the site has been set to its former form with the original text in the navigation bar.
