"The situation is getting scary for my daughter," says father of the girl who questioned police on Unnao rape

A school girl made it to news after she questioned a police officer on Unnao rape and the video of the exchange went viral. However, her parents have stopped sending her to school fearing upon her safety, reports Times Now.

Speaking to IANS, her father said that she was naive and she didn't realise the impact her statement would make. He  said that he will meet the principal on Monday and decide whether or not to send her to school.

The video of the girl questioning the officer about how he will ensure safety if the accused is a big shot refering to Unnao rape case went viral on news after being shared by Priyanka Gandhi.

“Suddenly, we have TV channels knocking at our door and even politicians are contacting us. The situation is getting scary for my daughter,” said her father.

The police officer she questioned told that her father's claims are baseless.
