Body of seven-yr-old stuffed in bag found on top of mosque's roof

A seven-year-old girl's body was found stuffed inside a gunny bag on top of a mosque in Ghaziabad on Sunday.

The girl had gone missing on Saturday afternoon following which her family filed a complaint with the local police station. The girl's body was found on the mosque's roof by a man named Suleman who had come for his morning prayers.

Initial investigations suggest that the girl was strangled to death. Her body has been sent for a detailed post-mortem. The girl's father accused the local councillor of killing his daughter. He alleged that it may be a case of revenge murder as the victim's maternal uncle contested against the councillor.
