Kalki Ashram has its head quarters located in Andhra Pradesh. The Ashram has various branches all over the nation. It was founded by Vijayakumar who is also known as Amma Bhagwan, Shri Bhagwan.
The Ashram is located near Chithoor in hundreds of acre land. They also take meditation courses.
For the past 3 days, IT officials had raided Kalki Ashram and other organisations functioning under his son Krishna. They have forund Rs.44 crore cash, 90 KG gold, Rs.20 crore US dollars, and Rs.409 crores worth documents have been found.
70-year-old Vijayakumar is a former clerk of an insurance company. He started an institution called "Jeevashram" in the mid 1980s and later started "Oneness University" at his Chithoor campus.
In the 1990s, he proclaimed himself to be "Kalki" the last of Vishnu's dasavathar and attracted a following. His wife Padmavati and son Krishna are also partners in the trust.
