A four-month-old child who became ill mid-air, died aboard a Bengaluru-Patna IndiGo flight even as the flight was diverted to Hyderabad on Tuesday.
The baby boy was rushed to the Apollo Clinic at the airport but it was to no avail and the infant was declared brought dead.
When parents complained to the crew about the infant's condition, all help was rendered including services of a doctor who was on board, but it was all too late when the plane landed at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
