In a shocking incident in Jharkhand’s Ranchi, seven members of a family including two children were found dead at their house on Monday. 40-year-old Deepak Kumar Jha was allegedly steeped in debt and committed suicide along with family at their rented house.
According to reports, the man worked with a leading private company and wanted to set up his own business. His 30-year-old brother Rupesh Jha was unemployed. He allegedly committed suicide along with his parents, brother, wife and two children.
While the police found the two brothers hanging from the ceiling fan, the rest of the family were found dead on a bed. While no suicide note was found, police suspect it to be a case of mass suicide. Similarly, two weeks ago, six members of a debt-ridden family were found dead in Hazaribagh.
