Home > News Shots > India newsAhead of US President Donald Trump's visit to India later this month an advanced team of US officials made a visit to ITC Maurya Delhi, reports TOI.
Reportedly President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump could be staying at ITC Maurya, Delhi. Though there is no official confirmation from ITC Maurya regarding the Trumps stay, the hotel has a significant infrastructure to host the US president. Trump and the first lady is likely to stay at 4,800 sq ft Grand Presidential Suite which has been revamped with luxurious facelift recently.
The hotel is equipped with massive air purifiers which will ensure "clean air quality" in accordance with WHO standards (particularly notable concerning Delhi air pollution). It is said that the dynamic plaque in the lobby would give real-time readings of air quality.
As per TOI, it would not be the first time for Hotel Maurya to host a US president. Former US presidents Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and George W Bush had stayed at the hotel during their respective visits to India. Well, that gives an impression of the hotel's infrastructure. Donald Trump and Melania Trump will be in India on February 24 and 25.
