According to reports, on Saturday, former AIADMK member and current leader of Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam, TTV Dhinakaran was framed by a Delhi court in the alleged Election Commission bribery case related to the two-leaves party symbol.

The order was sentenced by Special Judge Ajay Bharadwaj, who put Dhinakaran on trial for offences punishable under sections 120B (criminal conspiracy) and 201 (destruction of evidence) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

In 2017, TTV Dhinakaran was expelled from AIADMK following which he started his own party, AMMK. He was arrested in April 2017 for allegedly attempting to bribe the Election Commission of India for the acquirement of the AIADMK two-leaves party symbol.

The Delhi Court directed TTV Dhinakaran to appear before the court on December 4 when it will formally frame the charges.
