India Reports Increase of 490 COVID19 Cases In 12 Hours; Death Toll On Rapid Rise!
Home > News Shots > India newsThe novel coronavirus tally in India has crossed the 4000-mark with an increase of 490 cases in the last 12 hours. As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India reported 4,067 cases on Monday morning, while the death toll has crossed the 100-mark.
So far, at least 109 coronavirus-related deaths have been reported across the country. Looking at the active cases in India, there are almost 3,666 people, where 300 have either been discharged or migrated, the Union ministry added.
Taking a look at the stats of each state, Maharashtra is on top list, being the worst affected with confirmed cases nearing 700-mark. Then comes Tamil Nadu with 571 cases.
Even Delhi has crossed the 500-mark while Kerala registers 314 positive cases.
