Crude Bomb Blast at Court; 3 Bombs Recovered after Explosion
Home > News Shots > India newsA crude bomb was thrown at a court in Lucknow this afternoon, reports NDTV. The bomb exploded at the Lucknow Collectorate in Hazratganj near the magistrate's office and injured three lawyers.
The location is just a kilometre away from Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha as per reports.
Reportedly the bomb was thrown aiming at a senior member of the Lucknow Bar Association, Sanjeev Lodhi. He is the joint secretary of the Lucknow Bar Association.
"How did these unknown men (who threw crude bomb) enter the court premises? This is a breach of security. A few of my colleagues were injured. I escaped unhurt," Mr Lodhi said as per NDTV report.
Further, Mr Lodhi demanded strict actions for the incident and blamed the fellow lawyer Jitv Yadav for the attack. Reports say that at least 3 crude bombs were recovered after the explosion.
