What is the Status of 406 Indians Airlifted from China? - Official Report
Home > News Shots > India newsThe 406 Indian nationals who were airlifted by Air India from Wuhan, China and brought back to India early this month were being quarantined in government-run health camps.
According to the TNM report all the 406 nationals were tested negative for the novel coronavirus. Post the observation of individuals in the camp, they are being sent home. The official twitter account of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) confirmed the information.
Further, the MOHFW issued statements to the individuals and families that need to be followed after returning home. As per the statements the individuals should be aware of the symptoms of coronavirus.
“In case you develop fever, cough, cold or difficulty breathing anytime after leaving the quarantine Centre (within the next 14 days): Call the nearest health facility or health worker visiting you,” reads the statement issued by the Health department officials.
