CBSE schools to do away with homework till Class 2

Justice Kirubakaran earlier in the day ruled saying that the Central Board of Secondary Education needs to implement no homework rule for kids up to Class 2 by August 17.
 

The National Council of Educational Research and Training in April issued a directive saying that CBSE schools across the country wouldn't give homework to students till Class 2 and also added that only three subjects would be taught for students till Class 3.
 

The move came in a bid to not overload students.
