The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared results for Class 12. The result has come two days before the anticipated result date. The result of class 10 board exam will be announced in the next couple of days. Around 30 lakh students appeared for the CBSE class 10 and 12 exam which was held in February to March. This year the results have been given based on the number of exams as the board could not hold exams for all papers. Later, students will be given a chance to improve their marks.

CBSE result is available on http://cbseresults.nic.in/ , http://results.gov.in/. 

Post-result updates such as availability of certificates and mark sheet will be intimated to students through DigiLocker.

CBSE told the Supreme Court that it will be cancelling all remaining exams and will announce results by July 15. The board has also presented an alternative assessment scheme for the subjects whose exams were cancelled. This alternative scheme is based on a student’s performance in the written exam.

According to media reports. 13.24 Per Cent Students have scored over 90% Marks.3.24 per cent students or total 38,686 students have scored above 95% marks in CBSE 12th exam. In total, 88.78 per cent students have passed this year. The pass percentage has increased by 5.38 per cent from last year when 83.40 per cent students passed.

“CBSE’s 2019-2020 session saw many firsts in Class 10, 12 board exam. Two-level mathematics paper, a new assessment scheme are few important elements that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had added to annual board exams this year. The exams had also begun earlier this year in order to release the result before the commencement of the admission season,” NDTV Cited in its report.
