Cafe Coffee Day founder VG Siddhartha's body found - the nation mourns
Home > News Shots > India newsFounder of Cafe Coffee Day, V G Siddhartha, was found on the banks of the river on July 31, says Sasikanth Senthil, Deputy Commissioner. He went reportedly missing on June 29 evening near Nethravathi river.
On Tuesday, a letter was accessed where he had said that he failed and that he gave it his all. Siddhartha is survived by his wife and two sons. He is the only son of his parents and they live in his hometown, Chikkamagaluru.
After recovery, his family identified his body. Police is yet to declare his death as suicide. “We are now completing the other formalities," said Senthil.
His body was found near Hoigebazar. His death has shocked the nation and after his missing news, CCD's share hit the lowest yesterday.
