Businessman Gifts Mercedes-Benz SUVs Worth Rs 3 Crore To Employees
Home > India newsSurat-based diamond merchant Savji Dholakia has been in the news time and again for his extravagant gifts. In 2017, he gifted 1,200 units of Datsun's redi-GO hatchback to his employees as a New Year gift. And now he has done it again!
Dholakia has gifted three Mercedes-Benz GLS SUVs worth Rs 3 crore to three senior staff members, who completed 25 years at the company. According to a report in the Times of India (TOI), Nilesh Jada, Mukesh Chandpara, and Mahesh Chandpara are the 3 lucky employees.
They were handed over the keys to their new luxury cars during a small ceremony, presided over by Madhya Pradesh governor Anandiben Patel.
The three employees were in their early teens when they joined the company, Dholakia told TOI. “They started with learning to cut diamonds and polish it and now they are not only experts but most senior and one of the most trusted people of our company.”
The Mercedes-Benz GLS is an uber-luxurious car and the 350d variant gifted to the employees cost Rs. 1 crore on road price in Surat. The SUV is used by many celebrities, including actor Ranveer Singh
This isn't the first time Dholakia has done this. In 2016, the trader gave a Diwali bonus worth Rs 51 crore. The generous man also gifted 1,260 cars along with 400 flats to his employees.
Looks like people might be eager to join Savji Dholakia's company!
