Former Cricketer Gautam Gambhir Receives Death Threats On Phone
Home > News Shots > India newsIn a shocking case, cricketer-turned-politician and BJP East Delhi MP Gautam Gambhir received death threats from an international number on December 20.
Worried Gambhir wrote to Delhi Police that he and his family allegedly received death threats from an international number. He also urged the police to lodge a complaint and ensure the safety and security of his family.
As per NDTV report, in a letter to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Shahdara, Gambhir wrote, "I have been receiving death threats to me and my family members from an international number which showed +7 (400) 043. I therefore request you to file an FIR and ensure the safety and security of my family."
Further giving details about the case, he said his personal secretary Gaurav Arora has informed the police about it.
