Baby found dumped inside airplane bathroom, mother offers explanation

On Wednesday, a stillborn baby was found dumped inside an airplane bathroom. The 'lifeless' baby was found on an Imphal-Guwahati-New Delhi AirAsia flight. It was discovered that the baby belonged to a 19-year-old Taekwondo player.

The woman on Thursday alleged that she was not aware that she was pregnant. The woman admitted to having lost the foetus on board. Her brother-in-law too backed her allegations and claimed that nobody knew of her pregnancy.

Reportedly, the woman was on her way to South Korea for a tournament, when she delivered the baby. A case was registered against her and her passport seized. The woman was also barred from going to South Korea.
